WAT meant everything to me. It was an experience that truly transformed me as a person. I learned that the world has so much to offer us. You learn about American culture, but also about cultures from so many other countries. You get to know yourself better and grow in maturity.
You learn to value simple things like family, friends, and your own culture. You make friends from all over the world and realize that you’re never completely alone, because you meet truly amazing people along the way.
One thing is to exist, and another is to truly live. Going through WAT is a way of really living, and I strongly recommend not missing this opportunity.
