Tania I will never forget the excitement of walking into a Walmart for the first time, seeing a yellow school bus just like in the movies, or feeling like I was living inside an American film. Every little detail made everything feel so special: trying donuts, walking through snow-covered streets, and experiencing the American lifestyle I had dreamed about so many times.
But without a doubt, the most beautiful part was the people. I met friends from different parts of the world, all with the same energy and the same desire to travel, discover new places, and create unforgettable memories. Laughing, dancing, playing, and sharing moments that I will always cherish.
I also learned so much through work. Little by little, I got used to a completely different routine from the one I had before, to the point where that place started to feel like home. It’s incredible how a place that was once completely unfamiliar can become somewhere you miss so much.
I will never forget the first time I saw snow, the cold winter days, the nights in New York, and the excitement of visiting a city that so many people dream of seeing. I also won’t forget spending Christmas in pajamas, living a completely different experience. These are memories I will carry with me forever.
Today, I look back with so much gratitude because I didn’t just travel to another country — I also grew as a person, met incredible people, and lived moments that changed my life forever.
I left with fear and without ever having taken a flight before… and now I want to travel everywhere. 😂✈️
